Dr Shah qualified as a dentist at Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Hospitals Dental Institute in 2003. He was awarded several distinctions and prizes throughout his training. Following a year in general dental practice, he worked in children’s community dental services, oral & maxillofacial surgery at various hospitals and restorative dentistry at Eastman Dental Hospital. He has been practising orthodontics exclusively since 2007 and completed his specialist orthodontic training at Guy’s Hospital, the Royal Berkshire Hospital and Wexham Park Hospital in 2010. He holds a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from the University of London and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His articles have been published in the Journal of Orthodontics, Dental Update and Orthodontic Update. He has presented his work at national and international conferences.
Dr Shah is a postgraduate clinical supervisor in orthodontics at Eastman Dental Hospital. He is on the Specialist Register of the General Dental Council and a member of the British Orthodontic Society. He provides treatment with a wide range of orthodontic appliances including Invisalign, cosmetic and metal fixed appliances, growth modification functional appliances and removable appliances. Having successfully completed the European Masters of Aligners program (the highest level of training recognised by Invisalign), he enjoys treating complex bite problems with aligners. He has an interest in smile aesthetics and takes pride in delivering high quality care, tailored for each individual patient.
