In 2000, she began a three-year full-time specialist orthodontic training programme at Guy’s and Kingston Hospitals. Keen to continue her career development, she then went on to take up a three-year position as a Senior Registrar in Orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. This enabled her to achieve a Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and also to start her career as a Consultant Orthodontist.
